Services
Clinical Psychology — individual therapy for mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, grief, perinatal mental health, perimenopause, parenting challenges, workplace stress, and relationship difficulties. Therapists use evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT, EMDR, DBT, Schema Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, IFS, and mindfulness.
Neuropsychological Assessment — comprehensive cognitive testing conducted by clinical neuropsychologists. Assessments evaluate memory, attention, executive function, processing speed, language, visuospatial skills, and academic abilities. Common referral reasons include learning difficulties, ADHD, autism, acquired brain injury (stroke, TBI, hypoxia), neurological conditions (dementia, MS, epilepsy, Parkinson's, tumour), concussion, progressive cognitive decline, and medicolegal or capacity assessments.
Wellbeing Psychology — practical, skills-focused support for people wanting to improve mental health and wellbeing without a clinical diagnosis.
Coaching Psychology — evidence-based coaching for performance, goal-setting, and personal development. Available to individuals and athletes.
Professional Supervision — supervision for trainee and experienced neuropsychologists and psychologists.
Workshops — group programs on psychology and wellbeing topics for community, corporate, and professional groups.
Client Populations
Launch Psychology works with clients across all stages of life. Clinicians have experience supporting children and adolescents with learning difficulties, ADHD, autism, and school-related concerns; adults experiencing mental health challenges, neurological conditions, or seeking coaching; and older adults navigating dementia, cognitive decline, or life adjustment.
The practice has a partnership with the AFL Players' Association and several clinicians specialise in sports performance, wellbeing, and concussion management. All clinicians practise in an inclusive, affirming way and welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, cultures, and neurodiversities.

Referrals and Funding
Referrals can be made by GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals, or clients can self-refer directly.
A GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is required to access Medicare rebates for psychology therapy sessions. Neuropsychological assessments are not currently covered by Medicare.
Launch Psychology accepts the following funding types: Medicare (MHCP), NDIS (plan-managed or self-managed), TAC (Transport Accident Commission), WorkCover, DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs), private health insurance (extras cover, depending on provider), and private self-funded.

Do I need a referral? No referral is needed to book. A GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan is required to access Medicare rebates for therapy.
What is a Mental Health Care Plan? A plan from your GP that gives eligible patients access to Medicare-rebated psychology sessions. Speak to your GP about eligibility.
Is telehealth available? Yes. Most clinicians offer telehealth via video call, available to clients across Australia.
What is a clinical neuropsychologist? A clinical neuropsychologist is a registered psychologist with specialist training in the relationship between brain function, behaviour, and cognition. They are qualified to conduct neuropsychological assessments.
Does Launch Psychology see children? Yes. Several clinicians specialise in assessments and therapy for children and adolescents.
What funding is available for neuropsychological assessments? NDIS (if relevant supports are in plan), TAC, WorkCover, DVA, and private self-funded. Medicare does not currently fund neuropsychological assessments.
How long does a neuropsychological assessment take? Most assessments involve one or more testing sessions totalling 3–8 hours, depending on the referral question and the client's needs, plus time for report writing and feedback.
